Our Goal

We’re working to connect families a part of Seattle Children's

Hospital with the resources they need to plan for the future.

“I want to talk to you about one of the biggest myths in medicine, and that is the idea that all we need are more medical breakthroughs and then all of our problems will be solved.”

Our goal is to connect people with unmet basic needs in Washington state with local social health resources so that questions of food and safety are no longer an everyday concern.

WHAT ARE WE DOING?

WHO ARE WE?

We are a team consisting of four University of Washington Information School students. This project is a part of the Capstone Project course, sponsored by Seattle Children's.

Note: Our project is currently being continued, but will be continued by Seattle Children's Hospital instead of our current project group. Our team will no longer be working on the project and the point of contact for the project will be Kelly Fisher (Kelly.Fisher@seattlechildrens.org) and Charlie Kim (charlie.kim@seattlechildrens.org)
